OPNEX Open Testbed workshop with PUT and FUB

Participants of Politechnika Poznańska (PUT) and Freie Universität Berlin (FUB) gathered for the testbed workshop on the DES-Testbed in Berlin. The presentations and discussions elaborated how the theoretical approaches can be implemented on the experimental testbeds. Also, already existing implementations will be exchanged in order to gain more reliable results. The discussions paved the way to integrate the developed algorithms and approaches on the DES-Testbed.

OPNEX meeting with INRIA and FUB

For the successful OPNEX meeting, partners from INRIA and FUB gathered in Berlin from April 12-13, 2010. Next to a discussion of current efforts for the experimental-driven research for novel algorithms for wireless networks, Emmanuell Baccelli (INRIA) gave a talk about OLSR v2 and its RFC status. Further on, we discussed future cooperation plans for mutual research activities concerning the DES-Testbed architecture and the testbed environment at INRIA in scope of the OPNEX project.
